SENTINEL / LOCAL CONSOLE

Welcome back.

Sign in to your local camera console.

Camera passwords are entered separately in Settings. Processing and enrollment stay on your devices.

PTZ / LEARNED RANDOM PATROL

Let the camera learn where to look.

No presets to select. A local scene model checks each view for open ground, paths and activity. The camera explores in short movements and learns which directions lead to useful views.

Useful views get longer visits. Walls, blocked views and mostly sky get short visits. Direction choices stay random, weighted by what the camera has learned.

Movement yields to person detection and the camera’s onboard tracker. Learning pauses when the Pi gets hot or visibility is uncertain. Recording continues independently.

ONE-TIME WALL VIEWS

Choose where each camera parks.

Set up each PTZ once. Setup saves its current normal view, pauses tracking, and gives you direction buttons to point it at a wall. Saving returns the camera to normal. Its tracking settings and patrol state are restored automatically.

OVERLAY MAINTENANCE

Pause the overlay.

Camera/NVR recording settings and enabled camera-native tracking stay unchanged. Only this app’s capture, analysis, patrol scheduling and face-detail zoom pause.

If the Pi loses power or connection, the cameras and NVR continue their own operation while their power and mutual network connection remain available. The timer controls only this overlay.

LOCAL ENROLLMENT

Add a familiar face.

Only a local face template is retained; uploaded photos are not saved. Removing a template does not erase historical log text or independent backups.
